J-Bolts are used to help hold a screen in place. They are typically used when there is very little product weight going over a vibrating screen, or when the screen deck is being vibrated excessively to clear out debris.
These bolts hold the screen tightly to the deck, minimizing wire flex that can lead to screen breakage.
